May I take this opportunity to wish you all a 'Happy St Patrick's Day', on behalf of the Thames Valley Police Emerald Society'. Throughout the country we have seen many activities organised for this memorable day and each year it seems to be that more and more is being done to bring in as many people from all communities to celebrate this day. Emerald Society Launch Update

The TVP Emerald Society launch was a great success aptly aided by the London Irish Rugby Club mascot 'digger', who went down a treat with both young and old. After the launch members of the Anne Marie Academy of Irish Dancing completed an amazing performance to the rear the white house for entertainment of the public attending the forces open day. Open Day Launch

Saturday 11th August 2007, saw the the launch of the newly formed Thames Valley Police Emerald Society. The official openining was attended by the Chief Constable Sara THORNTON, Henry WYMBS (Radio Oxfords Irish Eye), Metropolitan Pipe & Drums Band, Mick CLYNE, Paul DEVLIN, Alistair RAMSAY (Web & Logo Designer), The Ann Marie Academy of Irish Dancing (Oxford) as well as many family a friends. The weather was on it's best behaviour and saw hundreds of people attending the Thames Valley Police Family Fun Day.
